Mason City_Occupational Therapy
To provide Occupational Therapy services to patients to include evaluation, assessment, treatment program planning and implementation, and related documentation, and communication. Also, heavy pediatric patient population. Experience in OT pediatrics desired.
A. Evaluates patients to obtain and interpret data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
B. Develops treatment plans, directs, supervises and treats patients in accordance with treatment plan using treatment modalities
C. Prepares written report of diagnostic findings, intervention techniques used, progress made and follow-up status in a time frame according to policy and procedure.
D. Consults and communicates with patient, family and other multi-disciplinary team members and contracted agencies.
E. Completes required documentation on patients and maintains other department records in accordance with departmental and health center policies and procedures
F. Promotes efficient utilization of work time, resources/supplies. Ensures charges are appropriate based on services provided adhering to productivity guidelines
G. Assists in maintaining the department and equipment in a clean and orderly manner in accordance with department policy regarding infection control and preventive maintenance.
